Andrew Tate Schools Toolkit (digital download)

£50.00

This toolkit is for teachers and adults working with young people who are looking to understand the harmful messages and attitudes that young people are consuming online. This toolkit provides information on the messages and lesson plans for starting conversations about these issues with young people.

Since we first launched this toolkit in November 2022, Andrew Tate and other so-called ‘misogyny influencers’ have been in and out of the media spotlight. A few years on from the initial concerns, we now have a better idea of the impact that this type of content is having on young people.

In our conversations with young people we know that this type of content continues to resonate and shape behaviour and attitudes, particularly of boys and young men. Young people still have questions about Tate’s messages, his values, and the widespread response to him. Recent media coverage is a reminder that if we sit back and hope he’ll be forgotten, we not only risk allowing his views to fester and develop in the minds of young people, but we miss a valuable opportunity to open up the wider conversation about a culture of gender-based violence and how we can tackle it.

We understand that these conversations can feel polarising, awkward and scary - that’s why we’ve put together this toolkit to equip you with the practical skills you need to open up conversations around Tate and everything he represents with the young people in your life.
