FAQs

  • Our talks are a great way to get a lot of information across to a large number of pupils. Talks can be delivered to up to 200 pupils at a time and we often recommend working with smaller groups of up to 100 pupils that allow the talks to be more interactive.

Our workshops are for smaller groups of 30-35 pupils. These workshops are about creating space for discussion between pupils and providing plenty of opportunity for pupils to ask our facilitators questions in a safe and open environment.

We recommend that all pupils receiving a workshop have a talk beforehand that introduces them to key ideas before space for discussion (you can see a sample structure of a talk and workshop day at the bottom of this page).

  • In co-ed settings we almost always run mixed workshops so that discussions reflect perspectives across genders.

  • Mentors are pupils who attend a 3 hour training workshop with us, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to work alongside younger pupils during Bold Voices workshops. Find out more info here.

Bold Voices Ambassadors are participants in our September-April virtual Ambassador Programme for Sixth Formers - you can find out more information here!

  • Staff training is a great place to start.

Our staff training sessions equip your staff with knowledge about what gender inequality and gender-based violence looks like for young people today and tools to ‘call in’ and ‘call out’ these issues around school. With a single session, our staff training supports a change in culture across the school.

  • Yes! We deliver parent & carer talks, both virtually and in-person.
